Alcalá de los Gazules
A Challenging ride with over 2000ft of climbing. Starting from Venta Duchesa and up the hill to turn right at the roundabout for the link road to the main N381 Motorway. At the motorway Junction we took the service road that runs along side the N381 before taking a track on the left to take us to the CA-6200 road. Turning right then along the road we passed a signpost to a Venta down country lane on the left and decided to check it out and have our coffe stop there. Suitably refreshed we headed back to the main road and up the long hill to Alcalá de los Gazules. Leaving the town by the A-2304 which took us back to the Motorway service road and back the way we came to where we had parked at the start. We then drove to Venta Los Naveros for our final Drinks and Snack stop. A tiring but enjoyable ride!

El Puerto de Santa Maria
A flat rided to El Puerto de Santa Maria with two starting points. Leaving from Casa Blas and down towards town and taking a right turn down Wet Lane. Crossing the roundabout and up Gypsy Hill and then along the road to Marquesado to meet the other riders at Venta Parada. Continuing through Marquesado to the turn for the track past the football ground and on to the yellow brick road to Barrio Jarana. Heading over the motorway we took the track to Puerto Real and through the town to the Cadiz University area. Through the country park and through the visitor center then on to the beach for coffee. The return route was similar with just a couple of tweaks for drinks back at Casa Pepa.

Sancti Petri
A short local ride because of high winds and possible rain, calling at the fisherman's restaurant at Sancti Petri for coffee and toast. Continuing along the sea front and to Barrosa where there was a spectacular view of the waves in the sea and several para surfers who had taken advantage of the high winds for an exhilarating mornings surfing. Return via the back roads and Chiclana Park to Pago for refreshments.

Cadiz
A special three kings ride to Cadiz. Starting from Casa Blas as usual and through town to pick up the cycle track to San Fernando at the Aldi roundabout, continuing round San Fenrandoi to Bahis Sur shopping centre to pick up other riders. The track starts directly from the car park and all along the side of the railway track right into Cadiz centre. We stopped for coffee along the promenade near the new suspension bridge and by that time it had warmed up after a chilly start. Suitably refreshed we threaded our way through round the city and all round the penisular and along the sea front to the lovely Nahubeach Restaurant for drinhs before heading back to Chiclana and home.
